What is a Conservatorship?
We offer conservatorship services at Chatuge Elder Law. Here are some facts about conservatorships:
Fact: A conservatorship is less restrictive than a guardianship.

A conservatorship arrangement grants the conservator jurisdiction over the conservatee's financial matters, but not over their personal affairs.
Fact: The same duties that apply to guardianships apply to conservatorships.

As a conservator, you will be responsible, among other things, for:

Acting in the wards best interest.

Protecting, maintaining, and educating the ward.

Acting above suspicion to ensure ward receives proper judgement.

Presenting undivided loyalty to the ward.

Failure to do so can result in significant consequences.
